Jeremy McGhee: Your New Hero

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Jeremy is a waterman. He grew up surfing and generally getting on the water whenever possible. While running errands on his motorcycle (almost exactly 14 years ago), Jeremy nearly lost his life when a motorist turned directly into his path. The collision left him helpless and bleeding in the street as his life slipped away.
By pure chance, a group of off-duty paramedics happened to be eating lunch on the corner and saw everything. Twenty minutes later, Jeremy was in surgery. If those paramedics hadn’t been right there, his surgeon told him, “You probably wouldn’t be alive.”
